Hello and welcome to the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Puget Sound!

 

The Gamma Epsilon Chapter is home to unique members of varying backgrounds, experiences, and personal identities, but something we all share is our love for Gamma Phi. Our chapter takes pride in the diversity of our academic and extracurricular interests, including (but certainly not limited to): sports, honor societies, clubs, music and theater groups, outdoor programs​, and volunteer work. Every day we strive to build each other up and push each other to new heights.

I myself never planned on rushing, and certainly never on being president of a sorority, but Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Puget Sound blew all my expectations out of the water. Where I had once worried there would be a status quo I was expected to follow, I instead found a community that pushes every member to be themselves. All my fellow geefs pursue their dreams unapologetically because they know that no matter what happens they will have a family behind them cheering them on.

College is a time full of uncertainty, but I've always had a friend to go to when I am feeling overwhelmed. Some of the most vulnerable and authentic conversations I've ever had have been with fellow members, and I'm thankful to be surrounded by people who are so unapologetically real. You don't have to have it all together. You don't have to know what you're doing 100% of the time. You certainly don't have to be perfect. All you need is trust in those around you and a willingness to grow.

 

I hope that you will feel the support and love of this chapter in the way that I have and use it to become the best version of you.
